Mini Superdrug Haul 2016

Hi chappes,

Today I want to share the products that got delivered from Superdrug today. If you didn't know Superdrug is a UK version of a drugstore ;)

I got:
Zoella Lifestyle Lazy Day Reed Diffuser -£12
Zoella Beauty Secret Santa Mini Sprays- £16
Tanya Burr 12 Days Beauty Advent Calendar - £25 (but at the moment £15 on Superdrug)

Zoella Lifestyle Lazy Day Reed Diffuser

I love fresh clean scents so I decided to choice the Lazy Days scent from the collection. I love the packaging and the little details like the little bow which was tied around the stick.
I was really excited when Zoe's lifestyle collections announced then came out as I love Zoe's home sense. i wanted to start with a reed diffuser as I don't have one for my room and I wanted to see the rest in person before purchasing it.

Zoella Beauty Secret Santa Mini Sprays

I love all Zoella fragrances and I really wanted to try the new gingerbread one. So I thought it would be the perfect little set to try and these little ones would also be perfect for your handbag or travelling. Oh and the gingerbread one smells sooooooooooooooo good! :)

Here is a comparison between the normal size and the mini just incase any of you were wondering :) And I also love that the mini design is the exact same to the normal size.

Tanya Burr 12 Days Beauty Advent Calendar

I was lucky enough to get Tanya Beauty Advent Calendar last year and when I saw it was £15 I could resist. I love the packaging with the gold/copper and the light blue as well as the silhouettes of I think Tanya, Jim and Martha. The calendar includes - 3 nail polishes, 2 lip glosses, 1 matte lip (which I'm very excited for), 2 glitter pots, 2 glitter liners, 1 nail file and 1 mirror. I'm very much looking forward to the 1st December so I can open the first door.

I hope you like this post.

Please comment your favourite makeup brand for Superdrug and please follow as we are nearly at 400 which is CRAZY!!!!

Benefit That Gal Primer

Hi chappes,

Today I wanted to write a review on Benefits That's Gal Primer which a lovely brightening primer.

I received a mini of this when I purchased the Benefit Porefessional  primer a few years ago. And I have recently rediscovered it as its beautiful for the transition summer-autumn months. As it helps brighten your complexion as well as smooths out your skin tone.
The primer contains raspberry and chamomile which creates this amazing smoothing and brightening effect on the skin.

I would recommend this primer to anyone looking for a brightening, gorgeous primer and I would love to purchase the full bottle.

Please comment your favourite primer and please follow.

Seventeen Easy on the Eye Palette in " Big Smoke"

Hi chappes,

You may have seen this palette in my Seventeen first impression post but I wanted to write a full review on this palette on the Seventeen Easy on the Eye palette in 'Big Smoke" (*)

The palette has  8 matte, shimmer & pearl powders, 3 metallic creams & eye primer with dual ended applicator. It has a range of gorgeous shades and I love how compact it is with the eye primer, cream eyeshadows, matte and shimmery shades as well as a huge mirror.

My favourite 2 shades from the palette is 'Cocoa Brown' - which is a gorgeous brown shade and 'Illuminated Bronze' which is a lovely bronze creamy eye shadow perfect for everyday.

I do have to admit I am not the biggest fan of the primer -  the eyeshadow still creases and the primer does take off any foundation or concealer that is already on the eye lid.

But overall I would highly recommend this palette if you looking a compact affordable travel palette.

Hope you like this pos, please follow and comment your favourite eyeshadow palette.

Eat Smart Book Review

Hi chappes,

Today I wanted to write a book review on 'Eat Smart' which is a healthy cookbook written by Niomi Smart who is a youtuber.

I was lucky enough to get a signed copy which is always nice. I love the front cover of this book with the cooper spoon and Niomi looks gorgeous as always.

The recipes look all so nice- I have tried a few of them and loved them. I am so happy that the ingredients are really normal so you don't have to get foods you have never heard of or don't know why to get them from. I have done a blog post on one of the recipes which was the Banana and Mocha Ice Cream which tasted too freaking good.

I think that Niomi did such a great job with this book and she should be so proud.

I would highly recommend this book if you are looking for a healthy cookbook or another cookbook with yummy recipes.

Hope you like this post.

Please comment your favourite cookbook and please follow.

Garnier Micellar Oil-Infused Cleansing Water

Hi chappes,

Today I'm going to be writing a review on the Garnier micellar oil infused cleansing water. The cleansing water seems to be everywhere at the moment so I wanted to try it.

      Before shaken.....                    After shaken....

As you can see the cleanser at first is split - oil and water but when shaken it becomes one. Then you put it on a cotton pad and take off your makeup - da-dah!
I really like this cleanser it takes your makeup off really quickly and leaves your face feeling clean and soft. I love that its quick and you don't have to rub your face and make it red to get your makeup off. It will also last a long time as you only need a small amount to take your makeup off- and I usually wear quit a lot of makeup.

Hope you like this post and I would highly recommend it.

Please comment your favourite cleanser and please follow.

Sleek Matte Me Liquid Lipstick in 'Birthday Suit'

Hi chappes,

Today I wanted to write a review on the Sleek Matte Me liquid lipstick in "Birthday Suit"

For me this is a your lips but better shade so a pinky, brown colour. Its great for everyday and is long wearing. The formula drys quickly which is great and not drying however it can feel slightly tacky on the lips.

The packaging is nice and you can see the shade of the lipstick from the tube. The applicator applies the product easily and not much product get on the stick the applicator is on.

Please comment your favourite liquid lipstick and please follow.

Niomi Smart Banana and Mocha Ice Cream Recipe

Hi chappes,

Recently Niomi brought out her cooking book 'Eat Smart' and I want to share my favourite recipe from it - Banana and Mocha Ice Cream.

1 tbsp instant coffee
3 ripe bananas, peeled, sliced and frozen
1 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp cocoa powder
125ml coconut milk
1 tbsp maple syrup

Add a tbsp of boiling water to the 1 tbsp of instant coffee until combined and the coffee has dissolves.
Place the frozen bananas in a food processor until thick and creamy.
Add the coffee, cocoa powder, maple syrup and coconut milk until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
I placed it in a mason jar from Wilko or the actual recipe suggests in cupcake cases. And you place it in the freezer for at least 2 hours.(I would recommend if you put in in a jar or tub after an hour to stir the ice cream to breakup any hard ice particles in the ice cream.)
And before serving leave it out for 15 minutes so its easy to serve.

I love the flavour and texture of the ice cream- and its healthy. I can't wait to try some more of her recipes. And I would highly recommend this cookbook and Niomi has done an amazing job. There will be a full book review soon.

Please comment your favourite cooking book and please follow.

Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation Review

Hi chappes,

I rediscovered a foundation which I used a few years ago which is the Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation.

This is a very full coverage and leaves a flawless coverage which lasts all day. It doesn't cling onto any dry patches and is a lightweight feel. The foundation has an oil-free, liquid mousse formula that blends quickly and makes my skin silky smooth and matte. It definitely minimizes the appearance of pores and gives my skin that nice natural, matte finish. Its amazing for the days when your skins looks bad or if you want a fuller coverage face. I would probably be wearing these quite often in winter months as I also love a more matte finish in winter.

Hope you like this post.

Please comment your favourite foundation and please follow.

First Impression: Seventeen Makeup

Hi chappes,

Today I have a very exciting post- I joined the Seventeen Blogger Network and they kindly sent me some of their products. So I want to say a big thank you to Louise who has been so helpful and sent me out some lovely products to try out.

Seventeen Eyeshadow in 'Gold' (*) -
I love the packaging of these product especially the fastening to open it - which probably sounds quite sad ;)
The shade is very pigmented but not too over the top and the shade it perfect for bringing out blue in your eyes.
I will definitely pick up some more of their eyeshadows soon.

Easy on the Eye palette in 'Big Smoke'(*) -
The palette has  8 matte, shimmer & pearl powders, 3 metallic creams & eye primer with dual ended applicator. It has a range of gorgeous shades - I love the shade 'cocoa brown' to put in my crease. I love how compact it is with the eye primer, cream eyeshadows, matte and shimmery shades as well as a huge mirror. Perfect!

Pink Bronze shimmer brick (*) -
This simmer brick can be used as a highlighter and/or blush . Its great that its not to over the top. And it is a very versatile product and you can use it has a eyeshadow as well.

Glow Tan Cream Bronzer(*) -
This was the first cream bronzer I have ever used. I do like the formula but the shade is a bit too orange for my skin tone but if you blend it quite a bit its great for my very pale skin tone.

Seventeen Skin WOW!! Concealer (*) -
I had hear a lot about this product- its a lovely highlighting concealer. So perfect for under the eye or down the middle of your nose. It has great coverage and perfect for fair skin.

Thank you again Seventeen and I would highly recommend this brand Seventeen. As well if you are a blogger I would recommend that you join the Seventeen Blogger network.

Please comment your favourite makeup brand and please follow.

Rimmel Kate Moss 03 Lipstick Review

Hi chappes,

Today I wanted to share a new lip product to my collection with is the Rimmel Kate Moss 03 Lipstick. If you are a regular reader of my blog you would know that I love Rimmel Kate Moss lipsticks.

I heard about this lipstick from my cousin as well its popular with
youtubers -Zoella featured it is some of her videos as well.
This lipstick is a lovely everyday nude and its perfect for school. Well its actually in my school bag. It's a great throw on- your lips but better shade.
It has a lovely creamy formula and very long wearing for a drugstore lipstick. It is the traditional Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick packaging with is black with the red writing. I love that the shade is in big letters at the bottom. So in my makeup drawers its easy to see what lipstick it is.

Hope you like this post.

Please comment your favourite Rimmel lipstick.
